MAKE A WEDDING DAY CHECKLIST
What to include:
- A list of all of your vendor's contact info
-A wedding day timeline
-A wedding day packing list
2. CONTACT VENDORS
If you haven't heard from your vendors, touch base with them and make sure everything is good to go.
3. FINISH ANY WRITING
-Letter to husband
4. HONEYMOON DETAILS
Make sure all of you honeymoon details are squared away (check-in to flight, hotels, pack, et.), especially if you are leaving very shortly after the wedding.
-Assign someone to be answering any of your phone calls on the day of wedding. I see brides stressing taking phone calls ALL THE TIME on wedding day. Hand the phone over to MOH (or whoever you're comfortable with) for the morning of the wedding, let them deal with the madness - haha! If someone REALLY needs to talk to you, she can hand the phone over.
-Assign any details that need to happen day of the wedding (decorating, etc.).
-Assign a designated clean-up crew for night of the wedding.
-Assign help for carting everything home after the wedding.
I highly suggest hiring a wedding planner for your wedding day, even if it's just for the day of. A lot of these tasks can be handed off to your wedding planner.
This is the most important one!! At this point, what's done is done and you just need to enjoy this time.
Girls night ideas:
Have a girls night with your bridal party. Watch wedding flicks, do a face mask, have a cocktail and just chill. (Don't go heavy on the alcohol the night before the wedding. You want to feel fresh and fabulous for wedding day!).
Drink lots of water and eat healthy meals leading up to your wedding. You'll feel better and you'll look better. Coming from your hair and makeup artist, your overall health does show in the health of your skin and your hair.
Lastly, just enjoy this little season of life! It goes by so fast!
Happy Wedding Planning,
